Her debut EP as well as her the full length album When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go was certified multi-platinum. Through her dark and alternative sound and distinctive style of pop, she was a global sensation. She has won numerous Grammy Awards.

Sasha Bingham, her character on Showtime's Californication is yet another noteworthy role.    Career  Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Timlin made her debut on the big screen in the role of Amy, teenager with diabetes in the film Derailed alongside Clive Owen and Melissa George as her parents. Timlin played Maddy in The Isabel Fish, a short film directed by Lara Zizic at the Columbia Film Festival.
